We utilize 3 different high tech lasers for dental treatment: a hard tissue Er-YAG laser for fillings and periodontal surgery, a soft tissue Nd-YAG laser for removal of excess tissue and periodontal surgery, and a diode laser for laser-assisted deep cleaning.

Hard Tissue - the Er-YAG laser can be used for both hard and soft tissue treatment with the following patient benefits: usually no anesthetic required, less healthy tooth structure removed, no micro-cracking of enamel associated with the drill, less post-operative discomfort, and no noise and vibration from the drill.

Soft Tissue - the Nd-YAG laser is used only with soft tissue applications such as removal of excess tissue. The diode laser is used mainly for sterilizing of gum pockets during hygiene procedures, and bio-stimulation, which promotes healing in injured tissues.
